The client needed something that could reduce the manual labor work of testing every time a new feature is added.

The SaaS Software that the client was using for online auctioning was quite huge, with tons of features and functionalities. Every time they needed to deploy new build or feature, they had to run manual tests to make sure the existing functionalities are not getting affected. Manual testing is a lengthy and time-consuming process, which would take up to weeks.

We proposed the solution to use Automated Testing process for QA to streamline and accelerate the testing process. We executed this using Selenium tool and Java technology. We did Regression Testing while adding new features, in which the test cases were re-executed in order to check if the previous functionality of the application is working fine and the newly added features have not introduced any new bugs.

Using the automated testing, we were able to achieve the same results in 2 days, which usually take 10-15 days when we did manually. By the end of the test, it shows the number of tests the new feature has passed and failed.
